Yes, we’re from Texas, and we say y’all.
Here’s our story… We met in 2014 in Dallas, TX (from Tinder, believe it or not). At the time, Lauren was working full-time as a Certified Public Accountant at a medium-sized accounting firm, and I was working as a personal trainer at the time.
We were both working ridiculous hours and chasing the weekends, where we could usually be found brunching, binge watching Netflix, watching football, and hanging out with friends. The usual.
We weren’t unhappy, but we just felt like there was “MORE,” you know?
I, Alex, always knew that I wanted to have some sort of money-making business online. I knew that I didn’t want to trade my hours for dollars for the rest of my life. I knew that after I found a love for business and success books such as The 4-Hour Workweek and The Millionaire Fastlane.
Lauren was a little more wary than I was. She hadn’t grown up with that mindset, but rather had the “play it safe with corporate America” mindset. She was working her way up the ladder, after all, and doing a great job of it!
We did have one thing in common though. We both wanted to travel.
So we set out on this journey together. We worked nights and weekends on top of our regular jobs. We worked 80+ hours some weeks.
Then we had an opportunity to live in Seattle for a few months at my dad’s summer home, rent-free. Although our little blog was not yet profitable (at all), we jumped on the opportunity. We felt like it was now or never, and we wanted to give it our best shot.
Well, it was the best decision we ever made.
Fast forward to today, 7 months later, we are making over $10,000 per month with our “little blog,” creating a new business, and moving to Nicaragua! Yep, you heard that right. We are joining some other digital nomads in a group called the Wifi Tribe.
We will be traveling to a new country with them every 6 weeks or so, and our business travels with us!
We won’t tell you that doing this was “easy,” but HELL has it been worth it! We worked our butts off in the beginning, and we still do, but now it’s because we LOVE what we do!
Our mission is simple. Create and Go. We found that the moment that we started creating truly awesome content and trying to give back more than we were taking, our revenues doubled. And kept doubling.
CREATE the awesomeness that the world needs. Give back. And then GO live your life on your terms!

We’re so happy that you are here on this journey with us!
